I made some brownies!
I visited!

THE FLEECE IS HERE!

The fleece is by far the best part.

A very successful Friday night here at Doane College....

Last night, Chelsea cooked dinner for Kyle, Megan, Megan and I. She made brats with cooked red and green peppers and onions, along with wild rice. Pretty much the best meal I've had in a very long time. Megan (S.) also made special drinks with lemon-lime soda and blue raspberry drink mix stuff.

After that, we played a game in the laundry room so Kyle and Chelsea could guard their clothes.

Then Megan (U.) and I watched TV in the boys' room because there were people sleeping in ours.  Finally, Matt, Megan (U.), Dan, and I played several very exciting rounds of Trouble.  All the while, we could hear the very loud and very drunken party across the hall.  Matt went and told them to shut up but they didn't.  Even the hall smelled like alcohol.... classy.
Then Jake called from Chicago and then, at last, it was time for sleep.
The end!

Winter sucks

Colleges should cancel classes when it's this cold out.
And that's all I have to say about that.

OH, except in Modern French History, we talked about the Dreyfus affair and I was proud of myself for two things:
1. Recognizing the name
2. Making a connection between the articles written about the affair titled J'accuse, and a piece of contemporary artwork I saw recently featuring Wikileaks founder Julian Assange and the phrase J'accuse.  I'd explain if I had the brainpower right now, but the cold has drained it.  Curling up in bed sounds better than explaining somewhat complicated political ideas right now.  And that's the problem with today's youth.

The end.
